Peace With God

-November 12, 2025-

Good morning beloved, happy Wednesday,

“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

(Romans 5:1).

The fifth chapter of Romans is so deep and rich; it shows what God has made us in Christ. The title of Romans 5:1-5 is “Faith Triumphs In Trouble.” We are saved by grace through faith. It is never about what we do, but what Christ has done for us us on the cross.

Before we were saved we were strangers, aliens, and enemies. Now we are His beloved children. Jesus died, was buried, and rose again to bring us forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life. The word justification is wonderful word and concept meaning that God has declared us to be righteous. Some have said and rightly so, that it is just as if we had never sinned.

Because we are “justified by faith, we have peace God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” This peace occurred the moment we received Christ as Lord and Savior. It is a rich, deep, and abiding peace. It is completely apart from our own efforts.

In order to experience that peace we to surrender to the Lord and let Him have His way and will in our lives. We now have a personal relationship with God through Christ. We who were far from God and are brought near by the blood of Christ. Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:13-14, “But now in Christ Jesus you who were once far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation.”

Let us rejoice we have peace with God. Have a blessed and wonderful day. Stay safe and healthy.

Peace with God: the world didn’t give to us and the world can’t take it away.

Honor Our Veterans

-November 11, 2025-

Good morning beloved, happy Tuesday, happy Veterans Day,

“He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me; for they were too strong for me.”

(2 Samuel 22:18).

David fought many wars against many different enemies and God preserved him through them all. He won every battle serving in Saul’s army and later led his mighty men to victory. He did not prevail because was the strongest or the most proficient but because of his faith.

David faith in the Lord carried him on to victory. He served well as a veteran. Today is Veterans Day in the U.S. It gives us a chance to honor our veterans and thank them for their service to our country. We should take care of our veterans and support them. Far too many of them have PTSD, are homeless, and commit suicide. Let us support them financially, physically, emotionally, and mentally.

As believers we are fighting the good fight of faith, facing the devil. It is a spiritual conflict that we continue to fight all our lives. We never retire from the Lord’s service. Older saints have the most knowledge, wisdom, and experience that is so vital in the church.

Paul wrote to Timothy, “You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself in the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him” (2 Timothy 3:3-4).

Let us pray for our veterans and help them and support our older servants of the Lord. Have a blessed day. Stay safe and healthy.

The saying is, “Old soldiers never die, they simply fade away.” Once a soldier, always a soldier.

The Wall Is Broken Down! Hallelujah!

-November 10, 2025-

Good morning beloved, happy Monday,

“For He himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation.”

(Ephesians 2:14).

At the end of WWII, the city of Berlin in Germany was divided into West Berlin, which was under western control, and East Berlin, which was under Soviet control. As a consequence, the East Germans built an almost impenetrable wall.

The East Germans did their upmost to stop anyone from leaving East Germany to cross over to West Germany and freedom. November 9, 1989, the wall was down and signified the end of the Iron Curtain.

It brought on great celebrations not only in Germany but throughout the world. Eventually on October 3, 1990 Germany was unified into one Germany.

As great as that was, it can’t compare to the breaking down of the middle wall of separation between a holy God and a sinful people, through faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross.

When Jesus died on the cross the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. That veil or curtain was so tall and strong no human being could tear it, especially from top to bottom. Only God could do it and remove the separation between God and man and a result the separation between Jew and Gentile.

Because that wall was broken down we as believers have peace with God and access to the presence of God. Now that is a cause for the greatest celebration ever! In fact, whenever a person repents and receives Christ, the angels in heaven rejoice. Actually they throw a party in heaven.

Let us thank God there is no more separation or condemnation for us who are in Christ Jesus. Have a blessed day of freedom in Christ. Stay safe and healthy.

We have been brought near to God without fear.

Sufficient Grace For Each Day

-November 9, 2025-

Good morning beloved, happy Lord’s Day,

“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

(2 Corinthians 12:9).

This is a great verse to encourage believers to rely on God’s grace in our weakness. This passage shows how Paul had a thorn in the flesh to keep him humble and dependent on the Lord.

Paul prayed three times that God would take it away and God didn’t answer in this way. In a sense, I am thankful for Paul’s personal experience so that we can learn from it.

The big question is, which would rather have an answer according to your will or God’s will? Truth be told, I would rather have God’s and His sufficient grace to carry me through. Often, God doesn’t take away the trial, but is with us and helps us through it.

We need a fresh supply of His sufficient grace. I am dating myself but when I was growing up my parents used to have fresh milk delivered to our house early in the morning. God’s grace comes to us like that, at just the right time and in just the right amount for every trial, problem, trial, situation, and every need.

Our God is our enough; so why do I worry? In Andre Crouch’s timeless classic, “Through It All,” the chorus says, “Through it all, through it all, I’ve learned to trust in Jesus, I’ve learned to trust in God; through it all, through it all, I’ve learned to depend upon His Word.”

Have a blessed Lord’s Day relying on God’s grace. Stay safe and healthy.

His sufficient, abundant grace makes me strong to run the race.

The Incomparable God

-November 8, 2025-

Good morning beloved, happy Saturday,

“To whom will you liken Me, and make Me equal and compare Me, that we should be alike?”

(Isaiah 46:5).

We live in a world is filled with comparisons. We compare people, products, restaurants, just about anything. We want to see which is better, which is the best.

There is no one to compare God to. He is the incomparable God. Isaiah 40:25 says, “To whom then will you liken Me, or to whom shall I be equal? says the the Holy One.

All other gods are mere idols, the work of men’s hands. All religious leaders are dead in the grave. Jesus alone rose from the dead and sits at the right hand of God, the Kings of kings and Lord of lords.

I found an anonymous poem. It says? “My God is so great, so strong and so mighty! There’s nothing my God cannot do! The mountains are His, the rivers are His, the stars are His handiwork too. My God is so great, so strong and mighty! There’s nothing my God cannot do!”

Have a blessed day meditating on the greatness of our great God. Stay safe and healthy.

God is immense, infinite, and incomparable.
