Let Me Touch The Hem of His Garment

-January 15, 2026-

Good morning beloved, happy Thursday,

“Then suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment.”

(Matthew 9:20).

Jesus was on an important mission to raise a little girl had just died. Her father had great faith that Jesus could and would raise her to life.

At first glance, it seems this was an interruption, it turned out that Jesus did two miracles back to back. As soon as this poor, dear lady, had a hemorrhage for twelve long years. Imagine that!

The lesson in this is that Jesus always has time for us. We don’t need an appointment or to take a number. He loves and cares for us. He knows our needs and will meet them.

Have a blessed day touching Jesus. Stay safe and healthy.

Power goes out from Him.

Wrestling With God

-January 14, 2026-

Good morning beloved, happy Wednesday,

“Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of the day.”

(Genesis 32:24).

Jacob knew he would soon face his older brother Esau after about twenty years, Esau hated Jacob for taking his blessing; He vowed to kill Jacob.

He had already sent his wife, children, servants, and livestock ahead and made a plan to save his family. Fortunately, he never needed it.

This wrestling match was with Lord and Jacob. This is pre-incarnate appearance of Christ in the OT. The wrestling lasted all night. Jacob refused to let go until morning,

Wrestling with God when we have no where to turn, we go to God in fervent, urgent prayer. The Lord had struggled with God and men, and prevailed.

May we have a blessed day. Stay safe and healthy.

Hold onto the Lord with a tight grip on the Lord,

Who Can This Be?

-January 13, 2026-

Good morning beloved, happy Tuesday,

“…Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was great calm. So that the men marveled saying. ‘Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

(Matthew 8:26-28).

This account of Jesus calming the storm on the Sea of Galilee is found in Matthew 8:22-28. It is also found in Mark and Luke. Most of the disciples were experienced fishermen who gone through storms on the sea, but this was different, more powerful. It was truly life threatening and they were terrified.

All the while, Jesus was exhausted and fell asleep in the boat. Only our Savior could sleep during a powerful storm. Of course the disciples woke up, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”

Jesus had to both calm the wind and the sea, and the hearts of His disciples. The latter is even more crucial to us than taking away the severe trials we go through, He is the Captain who has everything under control.

The disciples marveled at His mighty power. They were so amazed that they asked the question, who can this be that even the winds and the sea obey Him. He is the Creator of all things and everything obey Him?”

Have a blessed day knowing that Jesus is in full control of all things. Stay safe and healthy.

May He calm our hearts as we go through the storm.

Promise of Eternal Life

-January 12, 2026-

Good morning beloved, happy Monday,

“And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”

(1 John 5:11-12).

Of all God’s promises in the Bible, this one is one of the greatest of all, because eternal life is the greatest the gift. God is the greatest giver.

It is also the greatest invitation. It is offered to all through Christ Jesus. But it is only given to us by grace through faith in Christ. God will never change His mind or rescind it.

God makes it abundantly clear that salvation is free but it our choice. He who has the Son of God has life and he who does not have the Son does not have life.

Have you received Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? If you have, you have eternal life. Have a blessed day rejoicing in our salvation. Stay safe and healthy.

One thing is assured eternal life in Jesus.

God Makes Us Fruitful

-January 10, 2026-

Good morning beloved, happy Lord’s Day,

“Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold fold and the Lord blessed him.”

(Genesis 25:12).

God wants us to be fruitful for Him; Lord expects us do our part. Isaac sowed in the land. The Scriptures teach us that whatever we sow, we will reap. Galatians 6:7 says, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”

Way back in the Garden of Eden, God blessed to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. As believers we should be fruitful in all we do. Our fruitfulness has two aspects: winning souls and producing a godly character.

Have a blessed Lord’s Day. Stay safe and healthy.

The Holy Spirit produces the fruit of the Spirit so that we will grow.
