Walking As Jesus Walked

Good morning beloved, happy Friday,

“He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk in Him.”

(1 John 2:6).

The Apostle John mentions several tests or proofs of salvation. We can never work for our salvation, but we can show the results of our salvation. This is one of those. I like to call it the walking test.

It is easy to profess we are saved, and quite another to possess Him and abide in Him. Our actions must back it up. In the world they call n it a reality check.

A reality check is, “an occasion that causes you to consider the facts about a situation, no your own opinions, ideas, or beliefs.” Jesus said a good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. He adds, “ By their fruit you shall know them.”

The challenge for us is that our works back up our words.

Colossians 2:6 says. “As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him.” May the Lord help us to walk as Jesus walked and in His steps. Have a blessed day. Stay safe and healthy.
