His Name Will Called Mighty God

Good morning beloved, happy Saturday, Merry Christmas,

“…And His name will called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

(Isaiah 6:9).

Not only is Jesus Wonderful, Counselor, He is the Mighty God. Jesus is the Son of God, the eternal God; by the Him all things were created and He upholds all things by the word of His power.

He is the Mighty God, the God-Man. One of His attributes is omnipotence, meaning He has all power. When on earth, He relied on the power of the Holy Spirit to do miracles in the name of the Father.

The wonderful song says, “What a mighty God we serve, what a tmighty God we serve, angels bow before Him, heaven and earth adore Him, what a mighty God we serve.”

Let us praise the Lord that He is the mighty God and has all power. Matthew 20:18 says, “Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority (or power)has been given to Me in heaven and earth.’”

The mighty God is our God; and our God is the mighty God.
