Casting All Our Cares Upon God

-November 29, 2025-

Good morning beloved, happy Saturday,

“Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”

(1 Peter 5:7).

Peter, the one who denied his Lord three times, was restored by the Lord Jesus to a life of complete surrender, sanctification, and sacrifice.

I truly believe that Peter developed a keen sense of sympathy and empathy toward all the people of God. He loved them and wanted to strengthen and encourage them through their fiery trials.

We all go through trials, troubles, and traumas in life. instead of fretting, worrying, and fearing; we are to cast all our care upon Him. We live a very stressful, fearful, and tearful world.

We often carry our burdens ourselves instead of casting them on the Lord. We somehow think Jesus might be too busy to care for our small, personal cares; quite the opposite is true. He loves us and cares for us; He desires to carry our burdens. All we have to do is cast them on Him through prayer.

The Greek word for casting is epiripto, meaning “to cast upon.” In Psalm 55:22, David wrote, “Cast you burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” The word moved can be rendered shaken.

When we cast our cares upon the Lord, we must surrender them to Him and leave them with Him. Someone once said, “If it concerns you, it concerns Him.”

Have a blessed day casting all your cares on Him; He will surely give you grace and will be with you through it all. Stay safe and healthy.

When the sky is dark and gray, He shine on us in every way. He removes burdens and gives peace in its place.
