Good morning beloved, happy Thursday,
“That the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
(1 Peter 1:7).
Faith is a much more precious commodity than gold or silver. Gold needs the fire to burn away the dross and refine the precious metal. As wonderful as gold is, it can’t come close to preciousness of our faith. Genuine faith produces the best results.
We shouldn’t fear the fire. Job said, “But He the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.” Of all the people in the Bible Job went through most fiery trials. This why we call it, “the Faith of Job.”
