Sufficient Grace For Each Day

-November 9, 2025-

Good morning beloved, happy Lord’s Day,

“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

(2 Corinthians 12:9).

This is a great verse to encourage believers to rely on God’s grace in our weakness. This passage shows how Paul had a thorn in the flesh to keep him humble and dependent on the Lord.

Paul prayed three times that God would take it away and God didn’t answer in this way. In a sense, I am thankful for Paul’s personal experience so that we can learn from it.

The big question is, which would rather have an answer according to your will or God’s will? Truth be told, I would rather have God’s and His sufficient grace to carry me through. Often, God doesn’t take away the trial, but is with us and helps us through it.

We need a fresh supply of His sufficient grace. I am dating myself but when I was growing up my parents used to have fresh milk delivered to our house early in the morning. God’s grace comes to us like that, at just the right time and in just the right amount for every trial, problem, trial, situation, and every need.

Our God is our enough; so why do I worry? In Andre Crouch’s timeless classic, “Through It All,” the chorus says, “Through it all, through it all, I’ve learned to trust in Jesus, I’ve learned to trust in God; through it all, through it all, I’ve learned to depend upon His Word.”

Have a blessed Lord’s Day relying on God’s grace. Stay safe and healthy.

His sufficient, abundant grace makes me strong to run the race.
