Strength From And For The Lord

-October 25, 2025-

Good morning beloved, happy Saturday,

“As yet I am as strong this day as on the day Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and coming in.”

(Joshua 14:11).

Caleb was amazing! When he left Egypt he was 40 years old and when he entered the land of Canaan he was 85. God gave him incredible strength to serve Him.

He was as strong as an old man as he was as a young one. He was a mighty man of valor. His faith was fully in the Lord. Deuteronomy 33:25 says, “Your sandals shall be iron and bronze; As your days, so shall your strength be.”

When I was young, I learned the expression, vim and vigor.” It means to be full of energy and enthusiasm, living life to the fullest. It says of Moses in Deuteronomy 34:7, “Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished.”

May the Lord give us the grace to serve Him with joy, strength, and zeal everyday. The Lord will call us home in His timing. In the meantime let us keep on going strong. Have a blessed day. Stay safe and healthy.

When we live for the Lord and honor Him, He will give us His strength to accomplish so much.
