God Never Forgets Us

-October 13, 2025-

Good morning dear brethren, happy Monday,

“Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me.”

(Isaiah 49:15-16).

We forget so many things, I forget so many things. I don’t think we can go through a day without forgetting something, sometimes some very important things. This is why the Lord Jesus Christ instituted the Lord’s Supper so that we would remember His death in the cross in the Breaking of Bread every Sunday.

The wonder and blessing is that God never forgets, except He chooses to forget our sins. He will never forget us His children. He loves us and has compassion on us.

Mothers would never forget their nursing children but even if they did, God cares for us more than a mother cares of her nursing infant and their every need. He loves us with an everlasting love. He watches over us, provides for us, helps us, and intercedes for us.

Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” He bought us with His own blood and reconciled us to God.

I love the vivid picture in verse 16, “See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me.” The same hands that were nailed to cross, on them He writes our names. Oh what a love!

Though the whole world may forget you, the Lord will never forget you. The hostages in Gaza were finally released and returned to their families, though most of them had been killed. We must never forget them. I still remember the American hostages that were held in Tehran, Iran in 1981 and were finally released.

Wherever you are, whatever you are going through, the Lord is remembers you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Have a blessed day. Stay safe and healthy.

There are billions of stars in the cosmos and billions of people on earth, but just one you.
