Walk In The Light Of The Lord

Good morning dear saints, happy Thursday,

“O house of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of the Lord.”

(Isaiah 2:5).

The answer to the darkness of this world is to walk in the light of the Lord. The days we are living in are getting darker, we then must let our lights shine brighter.

1 John 1:7 says, “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” Light extinguishes darkness. We as believers are children of light and Jesus called us the light of the world.

Isaiah had a strong message for Israel for their evil ways. They worshipped other gods and turned from the Lord. They had ceased being a beacon to the whole world.

Our testimony depends on our walking in the light. Light in Scripture speaks of righteousness, holiness, and truth. We are called upon to let our light shine before men so that they will see our good works and glorify God (See Matthew 5:16).

Are you walking in the light of the Lord on a daily basis? It is a challenge to every believer. In Jesus’ name we press on. Have a blessed day. Stay safe and healthy.
