Enter Into God’s Presence With Thanks And Praise

-August 15, 2025-

Good morning beloved, happy Friday

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.”

(Psalm 100:4).

The title of this short and beautiful psalm is, “A Song of Praise For the Lord’s Faithfulness to His People. A Psalm of Thanksgiving.” The unknown psalmist speaks of making a joyful shout, serving with gladness, with singing, and knowing who God is, and who were are.

When we do and we know these things, it makes want to enter into the presence of the living God with thanksgiving and praise. We often think of this verse in connection with the gathering of the saints gather collectively, especially on Sunday morning. As that is true, but its scope is way more expansive.

We are encouraged to enter into His presence with thanksgiving and praise everyday. One day a week is not sufficient to thank Him. We should begin our day with thanksgiving and praise and it should continue all through the day until we sleep at night.

The psalmist concludes this wonderful psalm with the words, “For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations” (Psalm 100:5).

We cannot exhaust the reasons to thank and praise the Lord for He is good. Have a blessed day. Stay safe and healthy.

Which will you do more today, thank Him or complain?
