Just As He Pleases

Good morning beloved, happy Tuesday,

“But now God has set the members, each of them, just as He pleased.”

(1 Corinthians 12:18).

God gives spiritual gifts to each member of the body of Christ. We need each other; All the gifts are important. God is sovereign and uses us just as He pleases.

The work of the Lord was never intended to be done by a select few; each of us must work together in unity and love. Paul also wrote, “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all” (1 Corinthians 12:7).

God does not want us to be envious of one another, but rather be thankful for each one’s ministry. Typically God gives at least one spiritual gift, but there may be more than one. When we use what we have for the glory of God—we will be blessed as well as those whom we serve.

May the Lord help us to be useful and faithful in His service. Stay safe and healthy.

Each gift is important, coming from above, to be used in His service in kindness and love.
