Paul’s Desire, My Desire

-July 25, 2024-

Good morning beloved, happy Thursday,

“This being so, I myself always strive to have a good conscience without offense toward God and men.”

(Acts 24:16).

Paul wasn’t prefect, he was a sinner, but was a sinner saved by grace. He gave his response to the false charges against him. He took the opportunity to not only deny all the false accusations, but also to share his testimony of how he got saved.

(in progress)

When the Jews accused him before the Roman authorities, he said, “…Men and brethren, I have lived in good conscience before God to this day” (Acts 23:1). He spoke clearly and powerfully before all he spoke to.

What a great desire for us to have today! To strive to maintain a good conscience without offense toward God and men. In other words he did what is right in the eyes of God and his fellow human beings, saved and unsaved.

There will be times when we fail, we fall, say or do something wrong, but then the Lord convicts us, we repent, confess it, and move forward.

Have a blessed day be pleasing to the Lord. Stay safe and healthy.

With a conscience clear, we have nothing to fear.

Dean
